Stay cool despite the heatwave - EBV invites you to self-exploration

During the heatwave, the Velsen Adventure Mine offers a welcome respite with its constant temperature of 12 to 14 degrees Celsius. From July 27th to August 7th, visitors can explore the mine again without a guided tour on a signposted circular route, Monday through Friday. For safety reasons, the machinery will remain switched off, but information panels will still provide fascinating insights into the history and technology of mining. Admission is €8 for adults and €5 for children. Tours begin at 1 p.m., with last entry at 4 p.m.
