Tours at Velsen Experience Mine – Experience Mining Live in Saarland

Come on a journey through the world of coal mining. Experience technology, history, and goosebump moments underground on a tour you won't forget.

Public Tours on Weekends

Every Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm, you can join a tour as a single visitor. Duration: about 1.5 to 2 hours. And if you want, you can enjoy a miner's portion (must be booked in advance) or fresh waffles afterwards.

Tours for Groups and School Classes

You can also book a private tour for your group on any weekday between 9 am and 5 pm. We offer special rates for school classes and youth groups.

Multilingual Tours Available

We offer tours in English, French, Russian, or Italian on request.
