Velsen adventure mine welcomes 100,000th visitor - Minister Streichert-Clivot congratulates personally

Today, the Minister for Education and Culture, Ms. Streichert-Clivot, and the Deputy of the Regional Association, Mr. Gisbert Oberkirch, said well done to our 100,000th visitor. Jan and Ben Seib from Hasborn turned 10 years old. They had their birthday party at the Velsen Adventure Mine. After the ceremony, they went on an exciting tour of the mine. 40,000 children and young people have visited the Velsen Adventure Mine so far. "We are very proud that we saved this special mine for the future. Many volunteers helped us. More and more children and young people want to visit. They want to learn about mining in our country." The Minister came to the party and said well done. The Velsen Adventure Mine gets help from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Saarbrücken Regional Association also helps. We say thank you for this help. Glückauf Velsen!
